2)The linear equation obtained
was:
- Foot
length = (0.145 X Height) + 1.027
- This was
close to the Vitruvian Man, the length of a man's foot is one-sixth of his
height but it is apparent that what we gathered was not exactly accurate. This
could possibly be due to :
i) Small sampling population
(N=50)
ii) Human error in
data-collection (i.e. Parallax error)
iii) Inaccuracy when setting up
the measuring stations.
iii) Extraneous factors (i.e.
gender, race)
Future Research Considerations:
Separate the data collected based on race, age, gender and
do the appropriate grouping.
